Central auditory processing disorder (CAPD), seen in children and adults, has been linked to a number of etiologies involving neuroanatomical abnormalities, neurological compromise of the central auditory nervous system, and neuromaturational lag. Global Perspectives on CAPD will bring together leading international scientists and clinicians to discuss recent advances and future directions in research and clinical practice. The CAPD conference will be held in conjunction with the American Academy of Audiology’s Annual conference, AudiologyNOW! 2012, March 28-31, at the Boston Convention and Exposition Center (BCEC). Meeting co- chairs Doris-Eva Bamiou (UK) and Frank Musiek (USA) welcome all with an interest in central auditory processing disorder. Academy CEUs and ABA Tier 1 Credit will be offered.
